Erin has been involved with a number of harmonization initiatives, including collaboration with the British Columbia Cancer Agency (BCCA) REB and Ontario Cancer Research Ethics Board (OCREB) to develop a harmonized consent form template, and also the Network of Networks (N2)/Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards (CAREB) committee tasked with developing REB Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Erin has worked with numerous REBs across Canada, and a variety of multi-centre research ethics oversight models. She has a strong background in Informed Consent Form development, and is highly experienced with interpreting and applying the regulations and guidelines governing the conduct of clinical trials in North America.
Erin holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Life Sciences and a M.Sc. in Anatomy and Cell Biology, both from Queen’s University.
