CTO Programs

CTO’s streamlined research ethics review program makes clinical trials more efficient and cost-effective by enabling a single ethics review for multi-site studies. Through our online platform, CTO Stream, we’ve transformed how research ethics review is done in Ontario.

QuickSTART is a streamlined start-up process supported by CTO and an online digital platform in which engaged parties (sponsor, investigator and institution) agree to work in a streamlined fashion toward a 90-day study start-up goal.

Research Ready offers community-driven training and educational support for research coordinators, research personnel and new investigators in Ontario.

At no cost to innovators, our Industry Concierge can connect companies to the right people, information and tools to launch their study. The Industry Concierge service is for any person or company looking to connect into Ontario’s clinical research ecosystem to conduct a clinical or observational research study.

The Trial Site Network enables industry to connect directly with Ontario’s research ecosystem. The Network is comprised of highly engaged clinical research personnel representing from sites across Ontario.

The College of Lived Experience brings valuable patient and public perspectives into discussions around current clinical trial topics and issues. With a diverse membership that includes patients, caregivers, and other members of the public, the College provides insights to CTO-led initiatives to ensure that patient and public viewpoints are incorporated.
